Assessment Data: Answers, responses, video and audio recordings, and transcripts submitted as part of skills assessments, interviews, or screening exercises.

4. AI-Assisted Processing and Automated Decision-Making

Skreenit uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools to help power parts of our recruitment platform. Depending on the feature you use, this may include:

Extracting structured information from uploaded resumes/CVs and job descriptions
Generating, structuring, or analyzing assessment and interview questions, including recruiter-uploaded custom assessment documents
Matching and ranking candidates against job requirements
Analyzing written, audio, or video assessment responses (for example, transcription of spoken answers, or communication/behavioral signal analysis) to support scoring

These AI features are intended to assist, not replace, human judgment in hiring decisions. Where an AI-assisted output meaningfully affects a hiring decision about you, you have the right to request human review of that decision, to express your point of view, and to contest the outcome — see "Your Legal Rights" below.

AI outputs are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Recruiters using Skreenit are responsible for verifying AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for hiring decisions.

5. Third-Party Service Providers and International Data Transfers

We share limited personal data with trusted third-party service providers ("sub-processors") who perform services on our behalf, strictly to the extent needed to provide those services. These currently include:

AI/LLM processing providers — resume, job description, and assessment content may be transmitted to Groq, a third-party AI API provider, for the automated processing described in Section 4. Groq processes data on infrastructure located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside your country of residence, we take steps intended to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, such as relying on the provider's own data processing terms and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
Cloud storage — uploaded files (resumes, assessment documents, video/audio responses) are stored using Cloudflare R2 storage infrastructure.
Transactional email — account, notification, and onboarding emails are sent via our email delivery provider.
Payments — subscription and payment processing is handled via our payment gateway provider; we do not store your full payment card details ourselves.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. This list may be updated as our service providers change; the most current version of this policy will always reflect our current practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose of processing.

7. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees and other staff who have a business need to know.
